CUP Sends 5 Teams to the National Championships

Cincinnati United Soccer Club is sending 5 CUP teams to Dallas, TX to compete in the USYS National Championships. 3 girls and 2 boys teams will be competing with other top teams in the country for the right to be called National Champions. Matches begin Tuesday, July 25 with the semis and finals on July 29-30.

"We are looking forward to competing in the USYS National Championships in Texas this week," said CUP Girls DOC Bobby Puppione. "It is amazing accomplishment for our club to have 5 teams qualify for the national championships. CU/CUP's commitment to the player development process is a contributing factor for our ability to send more teams to Nationals than any other club in the country. The players have worked hard this entire year to earn the right to compete for a national title."

The teams competing include:

- CUP U15/02 Girls team

- CUP U16/01 Boys team

- CUP U16/01 Girls team

- CUP U17/00 Girls team

- CUP U18/99 Boys team

More than 30 of our players that are competing have already committed to college programs. Many college programs will be in attendance to scout players for college soccer. And, US Soccer Youth National Team Scouts will be in attendance to watch for future inclusion for youth national teams.

Some of the matches will be broadcast live online. Multiple CUP teams will be on the air. Check the schedule below for more information.
