CUP Girls and Boys Dominate National League Season

Five CUP teams have booked their spot in the National Championships this summer by winning their respective divisions during the 2016-2017 US Youth Soccer National League season. Three girls teams and 2 boys teams from CUP will head to Dallas in late July to compete for a national title. CUP/Cincinnati United won more National League titles this season than any other club in the entire country.

“The US Youth Soccer National League has been a great experience for our players and club," said Scott Rodgers, CU Executive Director and head coach of the U18 CUP 99 Gold Boys. "It has provided our players a strong competitive environment to compete in. I am so proud of our players and staff. Getting one team to win a division is impressive; getting five teams to win their divisions is outstanding. I want to say thank you to everyone who made this happen and good luck at Nationals in Texas.”

National League Champions:

U16 CUP 01 Gold Boys

U16 CUP 01 Gold Girls

U17 CUP 00 Gold Girls

U18 CUP 99 Gold Boys

In addition, the U18 CUP 99 Gold Girls finished tied at the top of the standing of National League but lost out on a title on goal differential. And, the CUP 00 and 02 Gold Boys also competed well in front of a lot of college coaches during their National League run as well.

Congrats to all of our coaches and teams!
